About Shraddha

I'm Shraddha, a writer based in India. I write personal essays about everyday life — the quiet, often overlooked moments that carry more weight than we realise in the middle of them.

My writing tends to circle around familiar themes: the kindness of strangers, the memory in familiar places, the strange relief of an ordinary evening. I'm interested in what happens in the spaces between big events — the texture of a day, the weight of a small decision, the feeling of leaving somewhere before you are ready.

I started writing publicly because I kept noticing things I wanted to hold onto — observations, conversations, half-formed thoughts that felt worth saying aloud. This website is where that writing lives.

My newsletter on Substack is where I write most regularly. If you'd like essays sent directly to your inbox, that is the best place to find me.

When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading, walking somewhere, or looking for the best chai in any city I happen to be in.

My newsletter is called Unfolding Stories. It's where new essays land first, written slowly and with care.
